Kukdo Chemical makes epoxy resins, tough, adhesive materials used in protective coatings for ships, automobiles, and containers, and polyol resins, a key raw material for polyurethane foams and finishes found in furniture, insulation panels, and car interiors.

Its customers span shipbuilders, automakers, electronics manufacturers, construction suppliers, and wind-turbine producers, among others. Listed on KOSPI, Korea's main stock exchange, the company operates two distinct business segments, epoxy resins and polyol resins, with the epoxy segment accounting for the large majority of its revenue.
