Hansol Chemical makes specialty chemicals used in semiconductor fabrication, display manufacturing, paper production, and rechargeable batteries, including hydrogen peroxide for chip and display cleaning, thin-film precursor materials that deposit layers onto semiconductor wafers, and binders and silicon-based anode materials for lithium-ion batteries.

Listed on KOSPI, Korea's main stock exchange, the company operates across three broad product lines, specialty chemicals, paper and environmental products, and electronic and battery materials, with the electronic and battery materials segment now its largest source of revenue.
