AUK makes discrete semiconductors, optical sensors, and LEDs, basic electronic components that detect light, manage electrical signals, and illuminate displays.

These components are supplied to makers of mobile devices, automobiles, consumer electronics, medical equipment, and robotics. Listed on KOSPI, Korea's main stock exchange, the company serves customers across Korea, China, and Japan. Its optical-sensor line is produced in small batches tailored to individual customer specifications, while its discrete-semiconductor line is built around a high-volume mass-production system.
