Hansol HomeDeco makes wood-based building materials, including MDF (medium-density fibreboard, an engineered wood panel used in furniture and interior construction), flooring, and decorative sheets, supplied to builders, furniture makers, and interior fit-out customers.

The company is listed on KOSPI, South Korea's main stock exchange. Its wood products division accounts for the overwhelming majority of its total revenue, making MDF its core business; it also operates smaller cogeneration power and forestry plantation divisions.
