Nice Information Service collects and processes personal and corporate credit data, then supplies credit scores, credit reports, and risk-management tools that banks, card companies, insurers, and other lenders use to decide whether to approve loans, set credit limits, and manage existing borrowers.

It also provides big-data analytics, debt-collection services, bond valuation, and advertising services through subsidiaries. Listed on KOSPI, Korea's main stock exchange, the company holds the country's first government-issued credit-bureau licence under Korea's Credit Information Use and Protection Act, and has since expanded into the 'MyData' personal-data management business under a separate full licence.
