Genematrix develops diagnostic test kits that detect infectious diseases, including sexually transmitted infections, tuberculosis, human papillomavirus, respiratory infections, and acute gastroenteritis, by analysing genetic material from a patient sample.

Its products are used in clinical and laboratory settings, and it also has vaccine and cancer-immunotherapy programmes in development. Listed on KOSDAQ, Korea's tech-focused small-cap board, the company's core commercial business centres on its NeoPlex product line, which can test for multiple pathogens simultaneously in a single run using proprietary molecular-detection technologies it has developed in-house.
