Korchip makes small energy-storage components, supercapacitors and lithium-based rechargeable cells, used to keep data and timing functions running during power interruptions in devices ranging from AI data-centre servers and industrial automation controllers to washing machines and coffee machines.

Its products sit in the electronics supply chain, reaching customers across industrial, consumer, and IT hardware markets. Listed on KOSDAQ, Korea's tech-focused small-cap board, the company has shifted its business mix so that its own manufactured products now account for the majority of revenue, with a smaller portion coming from distributing passive components such as MLCCs on behalf of a partner.
