Nextin makes optical inspection machines that scan the surface of silicon wafers during chip manufacturing and automatically flag tiny defects in the circuit patterns before the wafer moves to the next production step.

Chipmakers and semiconductor fabrication facilities are the primary users of these systems. Listed on KOSDAQ, Korea's tech-focused small-cap exchange, the company's machines combine two inspection modes, bright-field and dark-field optical scanning, within a single unit, allowing users to switch between high-resolution defect detection and faster, broader-area scanning without separate equipment.
