Celestra develops technology to detect cancer and other diseases at an early stage by analysing blood samples, looking for circulating tumour cells and fragments of cell-free DNA, and by processing large-scale genomic data.

Its services and tools are aimed at clinical and diagnostic applications in cancer detection and monitoring. Listed on KOSDAQ, Korea's tech-focused small-cap exchange, the company organises its work across four areas: genome-based healthcare, a liquid-biopsy platform, cancer diagnosis and monitoring, and early cancer detection. It operates its own biological big-data centre to accumulate and commercialise large volumes of biomedical data.
